My hands won't stop shaking, Mother. Even as I write this, I can feel the tremors. I wake up in the middle of the night gasping for air, convinced I'm choking on the ashes of the fallen. The sound of crackling fire sends me into a panic - all I can see are the burning bodies of my friends, their screams echoing in my ears.
