Baiqul is the dwarven god of craftsmanship. Baiqul's presence in the dwarven halls is constant, his influence felt in the clang of forges and the chiseling of stone. In the Essence Weave, Baiqul works closely with Pekeana, the god of the Stone-Earth. Together, they ensure that dwarven crafts, and ideally all crafts, pay homage to the materials taken from the earth. They strike a balance between creation and preservation.
During the Forgefest, artisans from every dwarven hold gather, bringing their finest works as well as their critiques of others. The air is filled with the sound of hammers and forges as craftsmen compete to outdo each other. Each year, a masterwork dedicated to Baiqul is created by a collaboration of smiths, masons, and artisans working as one.
