Umvakere is the orc god of war. His influence seeps deep into orc society and psyche. The priests of Umkebiku warn of the consequences of this war-mongering deity and the endless bloodshed he encourages. Whenever Orsia has collapsed and the orcs return to a tribal state, it is usually due to Umvakere's influence. In addition to the teachings of Ukebiku, followers of Umkapi and Umbal attempt to heal the scars of war left by Umvakere.
In their sacred rites, orcs call upon both Umvakere and Umgilin before battle, offering up sacrifices in order to curry favor. When two groups are about to battle, Umvakere supposedly blesses those who offer the most while Umgilin picks whoever she pleases - sometimes enough to tip the scales.
The War March sees orc warriors engage in mock battles to honor Umvakere, and at the end they swear blood oaths to the god of war.
