Nefiks sits on the coast of the Snakevalley Islands. It is the Serpent Theocracy's idea of an open door, but it is a door that may slam shut at any moment. The bazaar is a sight to behold with serpents selling goods crackling with strange magics and seemingly ancient artifacts. At the docks, ships from all over crowd the bay hauling goods to and from the Snakevalley Islands. Shadows and serpent eyes watch the back alleys of the town where information is traded just as much, if not more, than the goods in the bazaar. | |||
Despite its openness to outsiders, there several areas off-limits to non-serpents with mysterious dead ends and locked doors and constant serpent guards at otherwise uninteresting places.
