Kehlvan is nestled deep in the woods and mountains of Elori, and its curvy architecture reflects its most prominent building - the Elori Magimancy. The spires often reach the clouds, and students from across Tuyin seek to gain entry into the academy, even if their connection to the Essence Weave is well below what one would consider a mage. In addition to excellent training in magic, the school places a heavy emphasis on using magically ethically, responsibly, and safely. In addition to the Magimancy, Kehlvan is also known for its weavers and painters.

The Enchanted Garden sits in the middle of town. Elven botanists are constantly tending to the garden around the clock and have nicknamed it the "living laboratory" due to the constant monitoring and micro experiments.

Off of the main streets, many of the homes blend into trees and light woods and have an ambience consisting of rustling leaves and babbling brooks.

During the Pirtairi Invasion, the Magimancy and dwarven reinforcements held off and broke the siege of the city, allowing Elori to further push Pirtair back.
