In the age of Dawn, kinnaras openly lived in harmony with sylvans and satyrs among the trees. in 929:Dawn, humans exploring the forests encountered a kinnara in a clearing. Fearing that it's physical beauty and singing was some sort of evil trick, one of the explorers let an arrow loose that missed. Coincidentally, a small group of atpians far from home were also exploring the Extili Forests. Feeling a need to protect the forest just as their own swamp, began threatening the humans. Language barriers and different cultural traditions led to further tensions and miscommunication. A satyr, misreading the situation, fired an arrow and accidentally hit an [[Atpian|atpian]] trying to calm the situation along with the kinnara.
