Deathwraith

Orc priests believe that deathwraiths were created by Umgilin or Umkebiku directly, the gods of death and the afterlife, respectively. Deathwraiths are not good or evil but are simply observers at the end of life. They do not interfere or judge, but simply watch and wait. They are mostly present when someone dies, but there are stories of them being drawn to great changes and crucial moments, witnessing major shifts in the direction of the world.

It is very rare to actually see a deathwraith as they are often invisible and quiet, but when someone is near death they may feel the presence of a deathwraith. Many report it as a chill down their spine and a shadow that isn't quiet visible.

The dwarves have a special connection to deathwraiths, with tales of ancient miners sensing deathwraiths in the dark tunnels. These miners could tell which shaft or cavern to explore and which would become their tombs.
