Sorrow Shade

Sorrow shades are born from the tears of brokenhearted and haunt places where tragedy has left its mark. While many may not see sorrow shades, most have felt their presence whether they knew it or not. Sorrow shades are echoes of all the grief that's ever been felt. They can be found in the homes of grieving families, recent battlefields, and even old paths where the hope of better days have been crushed. They don't mean to spread sorrow, it's just how they are. Sorrow shades very rarely make noise, but when they do cry out it is often compared to wind rushing into a cavern.

Dwarven miners often report feeling sorrow shades while exploring caverns, realizing that they are not the first to pass through and that others suffered some sort of terrible fate here.
