Crystal Spider

Crystal spiders are beautiful creatures that live deep in the mines of the Dwarven Holds. Many miners will see their glimmer and sparkle in the lantern light, thinking they've hit a wealthy ore vein - only to see it move.

They're as clear as glass and their bodies reflect light in beautiful colors. However, their webs are as strong as steel and their fangs can puncture most armors. They're also as tough as the diamonds that they live around. Many dwarven lorekeepers speculate that they did not exist until the age of Mysts. Crystal spiders are generally docile and do not attack miners unless they are disturbed or someone gets to close, but most will avoid the area entirely if they find one.
