Knife-Ear War

The Knife-Ear War began swiftly after the Contact Expedition. Alkland was threatened by Elori discovering them and launched a surprise invasion.

In 0:Discord, Alkland declared war. The fighting was brutal from the start and Elori found itself stumbling backwards with many settlements and forts being reduced to ruins. When things were looking grim and Alkland domination seemed inevitable, the dwarves of Snowstone and Kazenrock came down from their mountains with their battleaxes and shields in hand.

Just as the tide is turned and Alkland is pushed back to its borders, Elori calls for a truce - much to the dismay of the dwarves, who wanted to finish the fight. Alkland accepted the truce, and the past century and a half has been an uneasy peace and occasional alliance between Elori and Alkland.
