Fort Antro sits on the very edge of the swamps of Trog'cent with the sole purpose of observing the atpians and ensuring they do not try to attack Alkland. The foundations are dug into murky, muddy ground and the walls are built to withstand not just an assault but the rot and moisture that comes with the swamp. The soldiers at Fort Antro are specialized in navigating and reading the swamp. Life in the fort is simply about watching and waiting, a fact that is emphasized by its numerous watchtowers. The fort also serves as a security checkpoint, anyone passing through the area must go through Fort Antro. Although mostly just for show, the checkpoint is primarily to observe the coming and going of atpians leaving the borders of Trog'cent.
