Zewemel Archipelago

The Zewemel archipelago is a puzzle of rough, rocky islands and shallow reefs - in fact, "zewemel" is Elvic for "rocky." The archipelago has a reputation for being difficult to sail around and through the smaller islands, and nearly impossible to reach the large island in the center. The currents are unpredictable, constantly shifting and changing and making any new attempt to pass just as difficult as the first attempt. Amethyst Peak, home of the Amethyst Preservers, sits on the top of the central island and no one knows how they safely come and go.
