Fort Frosthold sits in the far north of Tuyin, officially serving as a guard to Icehaven. Initially established after the North Snow Expedition, the fort is intended by the Archminister to be a launching point for further northern expeditions and colonization. Many of the soldiers stationed here often feel it is a punishment due to the brutal and unrelenting cold. The mages here are known as iceweavers, learning how to use magic to conjure ice walls and send icicles into their enemies as experimental weapons for further expeditions and defense.
