Fort Rat sits near Chiru. When the Pirtairi Invasion came to Chiru, Fort Rat held off Pirtair without any assistance, though the walls took a serious beating. Pirtair's inability to take Fort Rat - and the unexpectedly longer siege - derailed much of Pirtair's invasion plans and ability to adapt to any defeats.
The walls are covered in marks and dents, each with its own story to tell. Although the ancient fort was manned by the ratori, only elves and humans now walk its walls. The warriors here are always drilling and practicing, but Fort Rat is not involved in the training of any new soldiers.
