The Ratori Banking Confederation is a collection of hundreds, if not thousands, of small bakns working together under a single banner. Walking into one Confederation bank will be a completely different experience from one an hour down the road.
These banks are more than just savings accounts and loans, they also store treasures and valuables, help negotiate or facilitate trade deals, and connect the economies of Tuyin together.
Confederation banks are found in all parts of the world - Alkland, a single branch in Trog'cent, and even a couple in Nefiks - and their influence follows each bank. They keep trade routes connected and coins flowing. In a world where wealth equates to a louder voice, the Ratori Banking Confederation has an incomprehensibly large say and when they speak on matters of trade or finance, most politicians listen. When their banks have let the overarching organization have a finger on the pulse of the entire economy, one has to assume that they have insight into matters that most governments may not.
