The early humans were nomadic and always on the move until 742:Dawn, when they moved into the area that is now known as Alkland. The area had good, fertile soil and agreeable weather. After some time debating, the leaders of the human tribe moving through Alkland decided to establish a permanent settlement and attempt sustainable farming. After a few months, the seeds that they had planted bear fruit, and it was the grandest harvest that they had ever seen.

This harvest changed everything for the humans. Soon, more permanent structures and settlements began appearing. The humans quickly discovered ceramics to store their harvests and began taming animals to ease the burden of farming even further. Their god, Ingtu, was impressed and began working to further humanity's fortitude as a reward for their discoveries and progress.
