Fear Phantom

Fear phantoms are spectral horrors born from the darkest corners of the Essence Weave. They haunt the forgotten places of the mortal world. They are drawn to places where the veil between the world and the Essence Weave grow thin, ancient ruins, crypts, moors and battlefields or where the echoes of terror linger after battles and tragedies have long since ended.

Fear phantoms are completely silent, infecting the people that come across them with a creeping dread that wraps around their heart. They reach into their victim's mind and play on their darkest fears. The presence of a fear phantom is palpable, and many who come across one do not return the same.
