Castlerock is the capital of Pirtair. Originally constructed by every race as a colonial fortress in Ardred, the architecture is is a mismatch of various styles, ranging from elven frills to dwarven stonework and orc battlements mixed with ratori aesthetic carvings. Catacombs wind deep underneath the city, now used for storage and prisons.

Castlerock was originally constructed as an international peace effort to colonize Ardred, but it didn't last long. Once the Serpent Theocracy got involved, rumors of corruption and backstabbing eventually led to the collapse of any cooperation and the Castlerock rebellion. The colonists won their rebellion in 100:Discord and established their own nation now known as Pirtair.

Castlerock is constantly ready for war, partly due to the conflict that led to their rebellion, partly due to Pirtair's mercenary nature, and partly due to their failed invasion of Tuyin disrupting any breakthrough alliances they may have otherwise attained.
