The First Poem

In the dawn of Trog’cent’s mist, Berane’eq arose,

From the depths of marsh and lore, where silent water flows.

He sculpted kin from swamp and shade, in his divine guise,

The atpians, his children born, beneath the veiled skies.

Guided by his subtle hand, through mire and through reed,

Berane’eq, in whispers, taught the atpians to heed.

“Adapt as marshlands ebb and flow, in my name, embrace change,”

“For in the flux of life and time, find strength to rearrange.”

Praise him with hearts attuned to change, in rhythms soft and slow,

For in the dance of shifting sands, his blessings surely flow.

The atpians, in reverence, his wisdom did enshrine,

In every leaf and droplet, his teachings intertwine.

“In the mystery of the swamp, seek not the light of day,

But in the shadows find your path, let intuition sway.”

Solemn is their worship, in the dim of twilight’s grace,

Berane’eq’s guidance in their hearts, a subtle, fleeting trace.

“In the silence of the grove, in the murmur of the stream,

There, find my voice, my children, in each reflective dream.”

His parables, like water’s flow, through their spirits course,

“Be like the stream, relentless, with a gentle, yet firm force.”

“In the embrace of marshland’s hold, your spirits shall not fray,

For in the cycles of the earth, my presence will allay.”

The atpians, with humble hearts, in Berane’eq’s name,

Seek balance in the shifting world, his constancy their aim.

“As fungi glow beneath the moon, in death’s eternal sleep,

So shall your souls in afterlife, my luminous vigil keep.”

Their rituals, a testament, to cycles of rebirth,

In life, in death, in realms beyond, they prove their sacred worth.

“In the fog and in the mire, your destiny is sown,

Embrace the chaos of the world, for it is there you’ve grown.”

So speaks Berane’eq, in hushed tones, beneath the starlit dome,

His children of the swamp and mist, in Trog’cent find their home.

“In the whisper of the wind, in the rustle of the leaf,

Therein lies my counsel, in the solace of belief.”

The atpians, in their journeys, carry forth his creed,

In every act, in every thought, in every noble deed.

“Let not your hearts be swayed by stone, by steel, nor by gold’s gleam,

But by the wisdom of the marsh, the river, and the stream.”

In reverence, they live their lives, in Berane’eq’s embrace,

His guidance, like the morning mist, a subtle, fleeting grace.

“In the twilight of the grove, in the twilight of your years,

Remember me, your guardian, through joys and through your fears.”

The atpians, in twilight’s glow, their praises softly sing,

To Berane’eq, their deity, the heart of everything.

“In the balance of the world, in the dance of day and night,

There find your place, my children, in the spectrum of my light.”

Their lives, a canvas of his will, in hues of dusk and dawn,

In Berane’eq’s realm they thrive, from first light to the morn.

“As the swamp embraces all, in its vast, enigmatic hold,

So should you embrace each other, with hearts both brave and bold.”

In the sacred groves of Trog’cent, they chant his holy name,

Berane’eq, the ever-changing, in him, no two the same.

“In the cycle of the seasons, in the cycle of the moon,

There find your rhythm, find your pulse, in harmony attune.”

Their faith, unwavering, in the fog-shrouded land,

In Berane’eq, they trust, by his silent, guiding hand.

“As the reed bends in the wind, yet breaks not in its sway,

So must you be resilient, in each night and each day.”

His lessons, like the waters deep, in their hearts reside,

In Berane’eq’s teachings, they find strength, they find their guide.

“In the murk and in the shadow, your spirits shall not cower,

For in the depths of darkness, you shall find your power.”

The atpians, in shadows deep, their faith steadfast and true,

In Berane’eq’s enigmatic light, their souls they do renew.

“In the ebb and flow of life, in the turning of the tide,

There find your path, my children, let my wisdom be your guide.”

Their songs, a gentle murmur, in the night’s embrace,

Praise Berane’eq, their shepherd, in his eternal grace.

“As the swamp holds its secrets, in its heart so deep and wide,

So should you keep my teachings, ever present, ever inside.”

In the heart of Trog’cent’s mystery, their god’s voice rings clear,

Berane’eq, the ever-present, in every drop of tear.

“In the solitude of the marsh, in the solitude of your soul,

There find my essence, my children, let it make you whole.”

The atpians, in silence, in reverence, they bow,

To Berane’eq, their guardian, to his eternal vow.

“Let not the world’s chaos, its noise and its strife,

Distract you from my teachings, from the essence of life.”

His wisdom, like the moon’s soft glow, upon the waters cast,

Guides them through the marshland, through present, future, past.

“In the dance of light and shadow, in the dance of life and death,

There find your balance, my children, in every breath.”

The atpians, in their devotion, in Berane’eq’s name,

Walk the path of wisdom, their spirits ever aflame.

“As the marsh embraces change, in its constant, shifting guise,

So must you embrace life, with open hearts, open eyes.”

Their homage, a silent whisper, in the twilight’s serene calm,

To Berane’eq, their beacon, their guiding, healing balm.

“In the depths of Trog’cent’s heart, in the depths of your own,

There find me, your creator, never alone.”

In the hush of sacred groves, they honor his divine spark,

Berane’eq, their mentor, in daylight, in the dark.

“In the cycle of the cosmos, in the cycle of the land,

There find your purpose, my children, by my subtle hand.”

The atpians, in harmony, with nature and with fate,

In Berane’eq’s wisdom, they trust, they contemplate.

“As the swamp nurtures life, in its rich, fertile womb,

So shall you nurture each other, in joy, in gloom.”

His parables, like stars above, in their minds they gleam,

Berane’eq, their guide, their eternal dream.

“In the whispers of the swamp, in the whispers of your heart,

There find my presence, my children, we shall never part.”

The atpians, in their faith, in the marsh’s embrace,

Live by Berane’eq’s teachings, with dignity, with grace.

“As the swamp’s mist rises, in the dawn’s early light,

So rise, my children, with wisdom, with might.”

Their lives, a quiet homage, to their god’s ceaseless care,

In Berane’eq’s shadow, they find solace, they find prayer.

“In the end, as in the beginning, my spirit shall abide,

In the heart of Trog’cent, in each atpian’s stride.”
