Owekuko

Owekuko is the elven god of fear and memory, and is not a god well-liked by children. His followers call on him to frighten their enemies or leave them in tormoil over their past. The elves believe that by understanding fear, they can become stronger and overcome it. Owekuko is not a god to be feared himself, but instead is a teacher guiding the elves through their dark individual pasts. The lessons learned in Owekuko's temples are often about finding courage in the face of fear and darkness.

The Night of Reflection acknowledges Owekuko by encouraging elves to spend an evening reflecting on their past mistakes and how they have become better people, as well as the fears that they have overcome.
