Unknown Wastelands

The Unknown Wastelands set to the far northwest of Tuyin, beyond the edges of most maps. Few people have ventured onto this land, with most reports claiming that one moment they were trudging through sand and suddenly they were slipping on ice. Scholars have tried to make sense of the accounts, but the Wastelands seem to confound even the cleverest minds. The seas around what little land has been explored are treacherous, with sailors reporting that fog swallowed entire sister ships whole, never to be seen again. The reports also mention of a feeling of almost tangible magic in the air.
