Icehaven is a newer settlement established by Elori during the North Snow expedition. Sitting in the far northern reaches of Tuyin, Icehaven utilizes the collective strengths of all of Elori's races. The elves use their innate connection to the Essence Weave to cast spells that allow crops to grow in the frozen soil, and humans perform the actual labor. The dwarves mine below, preparing a warmer, more insulated underground city and providing stone and ore for the workers above. The ratori keep the entire settlement consistently supplied, making frequent travels back to the warmer towns of Elori to stock up on more food and wares.

The mages in Icehaven also conduct research into the few crops that grow naturally in Icehaven so that whatever allows them to thrive can be added to more temperamental crops.

Sleds and skates are everywhere due to the ice. The oxen's weight is also almost a requirement for any wagon, and even then they often fall. Children in Icehaven grow up seeing green lights in the sky and how to survive in a place that would kill most people in a day.
