Calendar System

The calendar system is defined by ages. Ages can span from mere centuries to several millenia and are determined through major world events and treaties. The chronicle of years is recorded: The year first, followed by the age, then marked by day and month, and lastly the name of the day. For example, 1:Dawn, 1 Dawnrise, Moonsday.

Months

• Dawnrise: Symbolizing new beginnings, often celebrated with festivals.
• Stormwake: Known for turbulent weather, often seen as a time of challenge.
• Rainseeker: The month of rain and rejuvenation, leading to a renewal of nature.
• Greenbirth: Celebrating the bloom of nature, a time of planting and regrowth.
• Suncrest: The peak of summer, with celebrations of sunlight and fertility.
• Leafall: Representing the fall of leaves and the cycle of life.
• Harvestide: The beginning of the cold season, a time of gathering and storytelling.
• Snowveil: The deep winter month, characterized by snow and the longest nights of the year.
• Frostveil: Associated with the end of winter, marked by rituals of warmth and light.
• Starfade: The end of the year, a reflective period looking towards the future.

Ages

Dawn: The first age. Includes the creation of the races, the council of deities, the first harvest, Extili Forests trespass, and the disappearance of Thrumut.

Mysts: The second age. Includes the Arcane Eclipse, Dwarf-Ratori contact, founding of the Magimancy and Elori, and destruction of the Tiocle Piub.

Leviathan: The third age. Includes the Purges and the creation of the Conclave of the Priests.

Conquest: The fourth age. Includes the last Purge, reunification of Orsia, founding of Alkland, assassination of Tridbentes, fall of Girnebidoe, and the Contact Expedition.

Discord: The fifth age. Includes the Knife-Ear War, Castlerock rebellion, celestial prophecy, Pirtairi Invasion, Mage-Rupture Event, and the creation of the Dwarven Holds.

Rekindling: The sixth and current age. Includes the establishment of Komfre, the North Snow Expedition, the emissaries of Trog'cent, and the shadow clouds.
